Lucy Mission Internship

About Lucy Mission Internship

The NASA Lucy Mission Internship is a 10-12 week program that offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry. Sponsored by the Lucy Mission, this internship provides a platform for interns to work on a variety of space science and engineering projects while contributing to NASA's goals. Interns are paired with mentors at one of the collaborative sites, including NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Southwest Research Institute (SWRI), Lockheed Martin, and KinetX. While the internship is sponsored by the Lucy Mission, participants engage in a range of projects beyond the mission itself, allowing them to develop versatile skills and knowledge. Throughout the program, interns benefit from workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one mentorship that enhance their technical and professional abilities. By the end of the internship, participants will have gained valuable insights into space missions and established connections within NASA and its partners, preparing them for future careers in the aerospace sector.
